Nicholas started his musical journey at the age of 4 playing piano. Nicholas completed his Conservatory exams and turned his attention to drums and trombone at the age of 12. At the age of 15 Nicholas was now a professional Union Trombone player playing in Military bands, dance bands, swing, bands, dixie bands and classical ensembles. Under the tutoring of Steve Hollingworth, drummer of the 5 man Electrical Band, Nicholas completed his final public appearance as a multi dimensional percussionist for a youth group performing Joseph and the Amazing Techniclour Dreamcoat.

Involved in music at a young age, Devyn has enjoyed music through voice and percussion. As a percussionist, Devyn studied at the University of Ottawa with Jonathan Wade and Ken Simpson, with additional tutelage from Brian Barker, David Kent, and Markus Rhoten. As a bass-baritone, Devyn has performed with notable Ottawa choirs such as the Christ Church Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys, Ottawa Choral Society (professional lead), Seventeen Voices, NAC Festival Chorus, uOttawa Choral Ensemble (section lead), amongst others….
